The Sonos ZP90 has a lot of options when it comes to integrating it into your existing audio system. Here’s a look at what all it can do.
A. The ZP90 comes with 2 CAT5 Ethernet jacks enabling you to hard-wire the player to your home network if you don’t have wi-fi. Remember, too, that your first Sonos device (in the absence of the ZonePlayer Bridge) must be physically connected to your wireless router. The second port allows you to extend network connectivity to another device like a computer or NAS.
B. Connect your ZP90 to a number of differnt components including, powered speakers, your exisiting audio equipment, your home theater system or your computer through the analog line-out. If necessary, you can use an RCA Y-adapter audio cable (one 1/8-inch stereo miniplug to dual RCA male connectors).
C. Use a standard RCA cable to connect a CD, DVD or MP3 player, TV or radio to the analog line-in. Note: The ZP90 does not support direct connection of an iPod or iPhone. For this you need a Sonos Dock or Apple AirPort Express.
D. / E. The ZP90 also has the option to connect your home theater or other system through the digital optical audio-out using a TOSLINK cable or the digital coaxial audio-out.
F. The voltage on the ZP90 is auto-switchable from 120 or 240 volts.
